Boning through the side seams and a canvas interlining under heavy zari, so the blouse keeps its shape instead of collapsing under the embroidery.
Two fittings, not one
A shell fitting before the handwork starts and a final fitting after it's mounted. Brides lose or gain a little before the date, and we'd rather adjust than hope.

Bring the lehenga or saree and we work to its border, its zari tone and its weight — matching gold to gold, not gold to whatever is nearest.
How it works
From fabric to fitting.

Bring the fabric and the date
Handwork lead time is set by the design, so the earliest conversation is the useful one. Six to eight weeks before the wedding is comfortable; less is often still possible.

Design and measurement sitting
Neckline, back, sleeve and the depth of the handwork are decided together, on paper, against your fabric. Roughly 45 minutes at the studio.

Shell fitting
You try the blouse in its unfinished state. Adjustments happen here, while they are still cheap to make.
- 04
Handwork and finishing
Aari or zardozi is mounted, hooks and lining go in, and the blouse is pressed. Final fitting before you take it home.

Before you come in.
How far in advance should I order a bridal blouse?
Six to eight weeks is comfortable for heavy aari or zardozi work. Lighter handwork can be done in two to three weeks. If your date is closer than that, message us — we will tell you what is genuinely achievable rather than promise and rush it.
Do you do aari and zardozi work in-house?
Yes. The embroidery is done in our Chandkheda studio by the same team that stitches the blouse, which is why the handwork sits correctly on the finished pattern instead of being mounted onto a shape it was never planned for.
Can you match the blouse to my lehenga or saree?
Bring the outfit with you. We work to its border, zari tone and weight. Matching from a photograph is possible but never as close, and with bridal gold the difference shows in daylight.
How many fittings will I need to come in for?
Two — a shell fitting before the handwork is mounted, and a final fitting at collection. Both are at the studio in Chandkheda and take around twenty minutes each.
Do you stitch blouses for the bride's family too?
Yes, and it is easier when they come together. Sisters, mothers and bridesmaids can be measured in one sitting and delivered on the same schedule as the bridal piece.
